The Bible clearly states that the two greatest commandments to Christians are: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27 ESV). At Bethel, we strive to serve others, therefore living out authentic Christianity. Serving others does a few key things:
- Helps a person live out biblical Christianity
- Provides opportunities to connect with and meet the needs in our community
- Provides a bridge to sharing the gospel
Our goal is not simply to serve, but our desire is to ultimately and unapologetically share the gospel to a world in need of Jesus Christ.
