Alpha Omega Purpose Statement /// why we do what we do

what is ALPHA OMEGA? >>>

Alpha Omega is the name of the junior and high school Bible-based program that is used to minister to teens at Bethel. The words, translated from the Greek, are "the begining" (ALPHA) & "the end" (OMEGA). We use these two words to represent a teenagers high school career as well as representing our faith and relationship to Christ. . . THE ALPHA & OMEGA (Revelation 1:8).

Grades 6-8 are named ALPHAS
Grades 9-12 are named OMEGAS

"AO" was developed to disciple and equip teen ministers. Therefore, the PURPOSE of Alpha Omega is:

"to EXPOSE teenagers to God's love, to EQUIP them to EXALT God, ENJOY other believers, and EXPERIENCE the work of the ministry."

When the five purposes lay the foundation for why you do what you do, then every philosophy, program, and person in our ministry is built and grows upon that foundation.
