Gary Butler came on staff in November 2004. He handles much of the pastoral care and counseling of the congregation, including corporate training on various marriage and family issues. In addition, Gary leads the ministry Celebrate Recovery and teaches two Adult Fellowship classes.
He is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College in Iowa and has pastored churches in New Jersey, Iowa, and his most recent position was Senior Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Wausau, WI. He has served on the board of the Baptist Children’s Home for 15 years.
Pastor Gary and his wife Carrie have been in church ministry for 35 years. They have 4 grown children and 3 grandsons. Pastor Gary’s interests include landscaping and tennis. |
