Jeremy Carr /// pastor of college-age, adult education, & prayer

Jeremy is Pastor of College-Age, Adult Education & Prayer at Bethel. Coming on staff in December 2001, he leads the college-age ministry called Trademark. He also is in charge of the Sunday morning Adult Fellowships for which he develops and writes curriculum. Jeremy is organizing and expanding Bethel’s prayer efforts, as well as managing the church’s bookstore and media ministry.

When he was four-years-old, Jeremy’s dad led him to the Lord. When he was 12, he knew he wanted to be in full-time Christian ministry. When talking about what he likes best at Bethel, he said the supremacy of Christ in all things and the centrality of teaching the Scriptures.

Jeremy has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College. He also has earned two masters’ degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary. Jeremy has done additional studies at Moody Bible Institute and Faith Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing an advanced degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinty School. He enjoys furthering his education and reading, especially the writings of Jerry Bridges and John Piper.


Jeremy was married to Michelle in 2001. They have a two year old daughter, Lexys, and a new baby born in September of 2006 named Sydney. Jeremy likes playing and watching sports, cheers for the Bulls and White Sox, and enjoys eating Mexican food. He and Michelle live in Crown Point.
